I would have loved this book when I was in high school. It is a sweet and simple love story. Not much character development and a simple misunderstanding with resultant teen drama as the climax. However, as an adult who still likes a lot of the young adult stories, this was a little too basic. A cute 30 to 60 min fluffy read.Product details

So much fun meeting these characters, couldn't put it down, fell in love with the whole gang. Everything normal and believeable. Then it's like the author left it out and somebody wrotea quick end and mailed it in. Brilliant young lady turns stupid, boy disapears, new friend suddenly acts total opposite worst character assignation ever to get to sequal . Author has great potential keep at it.
I hate writing bad reviews because I know how much work goes into writing a story but here is one dear readers and I am sorry...
Not bad for a YA supposedly mystery/suspense story which btw was not a mystery or suspense... However I have to admit it is what it is when it comes down to teenage angst and ooh aah how hot the young male next door is! There was not plot what so ever, no story except a young girl with too much drama. No character development at all just how the main characters made out in the middle of the night, that is it nothing more.
This book is awesome! Can't wait for the next one!
